The Liya 7.9m RHIB is purpose-built to serve as a primary asset for maritime law enforcement, border patrol, harbor security, and interdiction tasks. Its design prioritizes intercept speed, operational versatility, and crew safety in dynamic conditions.

|High-Performance Hull & Speed Technology
- Advanced Stepped Deep-V Design:
The 26-degree deep-V hull incorporates a strategic step. At planing speeds, this step creates an air cavity, reducing wetted surface area and hydrodynamic drag. This translates directly to higher top speeds, improved fuel efficiency, and a smoother ride in chop, enabling faster pursuit and response times.
- Lightweight & Robust Construction:
Utilizing vacuum infusion technology, the fiberglass hull achieves an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, enhancing performance and durability. The deck core employs waterproof PVC, eliminating rot and saving weight compared to traditional wood.

Buyer-Centric FAQ:
Q1: How does the stepped hull design specifically benefit patrol and interdiction missions?
A: The stepped hull provides two key advantages for patrol work: First, it allows the boat to achieve a higher top speed with the same horsepower, which is critical for closing gaps or intercepting fast-moving targets. Second, it reduces impact and spray in rough water, increasing crew comfort and operational effectiveness during high-speed pursuits, allowing for sustained performance.
Q2: Is the structure prepared for installing weapon mounts, and does this affect the warranty?
A: Yes. The deck and hull in key areas (bow, stern gunwales) are specifically reinforced during construction to support the installation of gun racks and other heavy equipment. Installing accessories onto these pre-engineered, reinforced points does not void the structural warranty, as it is a designed-for capability. We provide mounting templates and specifications.
Q3: What are the operational advantages of choosing twin engines over a single, more powerful engine?
A: For patrol and security duties, twin engines offer crucial redundancy (increasing mission completion probability), superior low-speed maneuverability for precise positioning, and often better overall fuel efficiency at typical patrol speeds. If one engine fails, the vessel can return to base on the other—a vital safety and operational consideration.
Q4: What electronic systems and communication gear can be integrated?
A: The console is designed to house multi-function displays, VHF radios, AIS, and radar units. The T-Top provides ample space for antennas (VHF, GPS, cellular), radar arches, high-intensity LED light bars, sirens, and rotating beacons. We work with your avionics supplier or can recommend packages to create a fully integrated command and control center.
Q5: What training or support is provided with the vessel?
A: We provide comprehensive operational manuals, systems diagrams, and a detailed vessel familiarization video. We strongly recommend and can facilitate on-water training for coxswains and crew, covering high-speed handling, man-overboard recovery, and systems operation to ensure your team can safely and effectively utilize the vessel's full capabilities from day one.

▊Operation & Maintenance- Liya 26FT RHIB For Rescue, Patrol, and Other Water Missions etc.
1. Pre-Operation Safety and Preparation
Before any voyage, thorough preparation is essential to ensure the safety of personnel and the boat.
Weather and Operational Briefing: Before operations, obtain the latest forecast information on wind, tide, wave height, and daylight hours. Assess if the conditions are suitable for your specific mission profile.
Crew and Passenger Briefing: All personnel must be briefed before departure. This includes instructing them where to sit, how to wear their life jacket correctly, and what to do during the voyage. Emphasize that all occupants must sit on the provided seats or the floor, keeping their waist level below the gunwales for stability and safety.
Pre-Embarkation Checks:
Boat Seaworthiness: Check the hull, inflatable tubes, and all through-hull fittings for integrity.
Drain Plugs (Bungs): Ensure all drain plugs are securely in place before launching.
Fuel: Verify you have sufficient fuel for the mission plus a minimum reserve of one-third. Check for leaks and ensure tanks are secure.
Load and Trim: Distribute the load of personnel and mission equipment (e.g., gun racks, boarding ladders) evenly to maintain a low center of gravity and good trim. Ensure there is sufficient freeboard for the sea conditions.
Essential Equipment: Check the serviceability and stowage of all required equipment, including a sufficient number of approved, undamaged Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) for everyone on board. Confirm that communication devices, navigation lights, and the bilge pump are operational.
Engine Start-Up: Ensure the engine starts easily and check for normal water flow from the cooling system.
2. Safe Operational Procedures
Safe handling requires constant attention to the boat, environment, and crew.
Speed and Maneuvering: Operate at a speed appropriate to the conditions, regulations, and your mission. The deep-V, stepped hull of your boat is designed for stability in rough water, but you must avoid high-speed turns or violent maneuvers that could throw personnel or equipment. Always reduce speed when approaching landings or operating near other boats, swimmers, or in flooded areas to minimize wake damage.
Rules of the Road and Awareness: Strictly obey nautical rules of the road. Maintain a sharp lookout for other boats, swimmers, floating debris, and submerged or semi-submerged hazards like fences, power lines, or rocks, which are especially dangerous in flood operations. Be aware of water flow patterns; stationary "V" shaped ripples or waves often indicate underwater obstructions.
Critical "Do Not" Rules:
Do not overload the boat or stand up while it is underway unless necessary for observation. If movement is required, keep low and hold on.
Do not permit horseplay.
Do not operate the boat or allow crew to operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Do not use PFDs as seats or cushions, as this can damage them.
Special Conditions:
Reversing: Avoid reversing in shallow water where the propeller is at high risk of striking submerged objects.
Fast Currents & Flood Water: When crossing currents, do so at an angle rather than directly to maintain better control. Approach jetties or obstacles from downstream if possible. Be extremely cautious of whirlpools, "water curl back" at weirs, and changing water levels that can alter hazards rapidly.
Emergency Response: Have and practice emergency plans for man-overboard, fire, and abandon ship situations. Remember, a swamped or capsized RIB is designed to remain afloat; it is often safer to stay with the boat while awaiting rescue.
3. Post-Operation and Maintenance
Systematic maintenance preserves the boat's mission-ready status and safety.
Post-Operation Checks: After use, thoroughly rinse the entire boat, especially the engine and all metal components (like stainless-steel fittings), with fresh water. Flush the engine cooling system as per the manufacturer's instructions. Check for any new damage, wear, or leaks that may have occurred during operations.
Scheduled Maintenance:
Hull and Tubes: Regularly inspect the fiberglass hull for cracks, gouges, or osmotic blisters. Clean the inflatable tubes with approved cleaners and protect them from UV degradation. Check tube pressure frequently, as specified by the manufacturer.
Engine and Systems: Adhere strictly to the engine manufacturer's service schedule for oil changes, filter replacements, and gearcase lubrication. Inspect steering, throttle, and shift control systems for smooth operation and corrosion. Test the bilge pump and all electrical systems regularly.
Safety Gear: Service and inspect all safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, flares, and PFDs. Replace any expired or damaged items immediately.
Record Keeping: Maintain a detailed log of all operations, inspections, maintenance performed, and parts replaced. This is crucial for professional duty boats to track wear patterns and plan preventative maintenance.
